If you have been looking for a high quality smooth plane at an affordable price your search is over. This fine plane is loaded with innovations including a pivoting all-in-one "Norris" style blade adjuster, a single screw frog adjuster and a unique blade/cap assembly. The cast body is finely machined with perfectly square sides and all contact surfaces are precisely finished for smooth operation. The extra thick (1/8") tool steel blade is hardened to Rc60-62 for smooth, chatter-free planning. Precision German engineering and manufacturing at it's best.

Additional features include a low profile body style and European Cherry handles.

This new plane from Kunz of Germany fills the gap between high price luxury planes and low cost imports. All components are finely machined to close tolerances for smooth, precise adjustment and the heavy castings give this tools the solid heft necessary for precision work. Features include an adjustable throat opening, unique lateral blade adjusting mechanism and solid construction throughout. Standard 20° block plane blade angle.  Overall length is 7", blade with is 1 5/8".
