New   Diefenbacher Trimming Chisels

Fine fitting and trimming with a chisel requires exacting control and a razor sharp cutting edge.  Bevel edge bench chisels can be too heavy and clumsy for the finest work.  Let's face it, they where designed as an all purpose tool, not necessarily the right tool for every application.

Our new line of Trimming Chisels has been designed specifically for fine hand work and light mallet use.  To enhance control, these elegant tools feature a thinner blade and are shorter than conventional chisels.  The fully polished blades are hand forged German steel hardened to Rc61.  They are  guaranteed to hold an exceptionally keen edge.  The handsome cherrywood handles fit comfortably in the hand and assure maximum grip in a variety of positions.  The handles also feature a brass ferrule and burnished oil finish.  Once you have used these tools, you'll find them hard to put down!

The fishtail blades are great for working in hard to reach areas while the straight edge blades are the best choice for all around use.  Overall length 9 1/2" to 10 1/2".
